On Friday, November 18th : A visit of Jurafiltration

On Friday, November 18th 2016, we (the International Trade class) visited the company Jurafiltration in Pontarlier. This business is specialized in the distribution of filters for cars, trucks, boats, tractors, swimming pools, etc……
It has 3 subsidiaries: one in Romania, one in Poland and one in Spain which has been operating since the beginning of November.
The Human Resources Manager welcomed us. We discovered different departments such as purchasing, logistics, export and storage.
Several employees spoke about their jobs. Two of them got a diploma in International Trade in Xavier Marmier.
Now, we know what we can do after our diploma!

Monday, November 7th
Monday, November 7th, we (International Trade classes), we met Mr Delatre, sales representative in the sector of games and toys. He came to present us his job and also gave us advice so that our visit at the Nuremberg show should be profitable.
He has strong knowledge of this market, thanks to his twenty-year-long experience.
Nowadays, he is a representative of 12 brands, Danish brands (Flensted mobiles) or brands from Franche-Comté like.
His goal is to prospect souvenir and gift shops (in museum for example) in Switzerland. He also organizes sales events with the character “Toyman” that he has created.
Concerning our visit on the toys show, he advised us to find a way to distinguish ourselves from others with badges of Franche-Comté showing that we are students.
We thank him for his intervention and look forward to seeing him again on the show !
